CAR WASH FUNDRAISER  Sunday, October 4th 2015, 11:00 am -3:00PM, 8 Myrtle Avenue  (rain date is Sunday, October 18th)

The girls are signing up to cover one of three shifts at the car wash. The shifts are 10:45-1:00, 12:00-2:00 and 1:00-3:15. (Overlap is to maintain coverage throughout) The first and last shifts include a few minutes for set up and clean up. If we could have roughly 1/3 of the team at each, that would be great. Also, we need at least 1 but preferably 2-3 parent volunteers at each shift as well to help with oversight, etc.  Please email clairehertan@gmail.com to let her know if you can help with covering a shift.  Any questions her number is 203 557 4507.

Each swimmer is requested to sell a minimum of 5 tickets in advance of the Car Wash at $10.00.  They have been given 10 and we can give them more if they need them.

Money raised (cash or checks) can be:

1.) Returned to your team captains Aileen, Emily or Kacey at practice;

2.) Mailed to Lily’s Dad (Ned Dane 12 Prospect Rd., Westport); OR

3.) Dropped off at the car wash on October 4th in a sealed envelope marked Staples Girls Swim and Dive.

Checks should be made out to:  STAPLES GIRLS SWIM AND DIVE

Selling at least 5 tickets per player is very important. Money raised from our pre-car wash ticket sales will go directly to support Staples Girls Swim and Dive. Monies raised the day of the car wash will be split 50/50 between the Girls Swim and Dive Team and Boys Water Polo Team.

October 1st Bake Sale

September 27, 2015 by ·

Hi All,

The Staples Girls Swimming and Diving team has just ONE bake sale this season.  It will be on October 1st, the day before Homecoming and the weekend before the team’s Car Wash.

We need donations of baked goods, little packaged snacks, Gatorade or other drinks.   We also need pizza sponsors ($11/pie).

Any contributions or help during the bake sale would be greatly appreciated.  Donated goods can be left at the Staples front desk (Let Patty or David know too if they are manning the desk) from 7am to 2pm with a note “Girls Swim or Dive Team.”

IF you are feeling creative, please add a decoration of some kind to the donation to remind purchasers that our car wash is on the weekend or that Homecoming is the next day.

THANK YOU!

Please email Claire Hertan, clairehertan@gmail.com to say what you can contribute or do to help.

If you have questions her number is 203-557-4507
